Thought Quarter is a strategy, design and software development agency that amplifies businesses through rapid innovation and intelligent technology.

The forward-thinking agency, who are one of just a small number of Umbraco Gold Partners in the UK, are recognised for their impressive ability to solve complex problems at pace.

With values of ‘clarity, curiosity and confidence’ embedded into every element of their business, the Thought Quarter team ethos partners perfectly with the Chamber’s own key strategic priorities of promoting and facilitating local procurement.

Our innovative Pitch & Procure event at the University of Plymouth will bring enterprising local businesses together with several major procuring organisations, giving you the chance to showcase your products and services.

A panel of major procurers – including Plymouth City Council, the University of Plymouth, University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, Babcock and Classic Builders – will be in the front row of an audience that hears a series of short, sharp pitches from several businesses in quick succession.

Following a brief Q&A, these procurers can choose which businesses, if any, they wish to further conversations with. That may be as simple as being sent details of how to register for tender information and enter the procurement process, or an invitation to a further exploratory meeting.

The Chamber can then broker these communications and introduce successful pitchers to additional support in preparing their tenders.

At the conclusion of the presentations there will be the opportunity to continue networking or follow up on conversations with our procurers. You’re welcome to join us even if you’re not interested in pitching yourself.

Pitch & Procure will offer some excellent networking opportunities and who knows, you may also hear about something that will be of benefit to your own business.

Sam Armondi, Managing Director at Thought Quarter, says: “We’re thrilled to be working with the Chamber team on such an innovative and exciting event.

“We know that great business partnerships start with conversations, and this is a great opportunity for Chamber members to spark those conversations with established businesses outside of their usual audience.”

The Devon & Plymouth Chamber will be hosting another Pitch & Procure event on Thursday 27 April, in partnership with Womble Bond Dickinson.

Sourcing overseas gives your business access to cutting-edge research, design or specialised knowledge as well as a wider range of potential suppliers from which to choose.

This event will feature a panel of major procurers from Devon and online from Abu Dhabi.
