Devon Chamber of Commerce is delighted to welcome CWC Solicitors, one of the South West’s leading law firms, as its new Patron.
With offices across Devon, CWC Solicitors supports individuals, families and businesses through every stage of their journey. Its team of specialists covers employment law, commercial and corporate services, dispute resolution, property, private client and family law, providing practical legal advice that helps people and organisations move forward with confidence.
The firm’s vision is to be the law firm of choice in the South West by delivering exceptional client experiences, investing in its people and making a positive impact within its communities. That ambition is guided by four core values: being thorough and proactive, simplifying the complex, embracing innovation and valuing people.
CWC Solicitors’ new Patronage was officially unveiled during the Chamber’s Exeter City Conversations event, held at Exeter City FC’s St James’ Park stadium, where Mick Savage, Lucy Atwill, Antony Dyke and Natalie Roberts were on hand for the announcement.

Mick Savage, Chief Operating Officer at CWC Solicitors, said: “As a firm deeply rooted in Devon, we are passionate about supporting the businesses and organisations that help our region thrive.
“Becoming a Patron of Devon Chamber reflects our commitment to building stronger relationships within the local business community and contributing to the region’s continued success.”
For CWC Solicitors, the decision reflects a long-held belief that successful businesses have a responsibility to contribute to the communities they serve. The firm sees the Chamber’s work in bringing businesses together, creating opportunities for collaboration, sharing best practice and ensuring the voice of Devon’s business community is heard as a mission it wants to be actively involved in.
Mick added: “At CWC, we believe that great relationships are built through collaboration, trust and a genuine desire to help others succeed. We see our Patronage as an opportunity to share our expertise, learn from fellow members and contribute positively to the conversations that shape the future of our region.”

As a law firm, CWC Solicitors is often called upon to help businesses through some of their most important decisions and challenges. Whether an organisation is supporting growth, resolving a dispute, acquiring property, planning succession or adapting to legislative change, the team’s focus is on practical, commercially focused advice that helps it achieve its goals.
Looking ahead, Mick said: “We are not joining as a Patron simply to raise our profile. We want to be an active and engaged member of the Chamber community, supporting events, sharing knowledge and building meaningful connections with businesses across Devon.
“We look forward to working alongside fellow members, understanding their ambitions and challenges, and helping create opportunities for growth, innovation and success. Together, we can help make Devon an even stronger place to do business.”

Helen Wylde-Archibald, Devon Chamber CEO, commented: “We are delighted to welcome CWC Solicitors as our new Patron.
“Many of the most important decisions a business will ever make have a legal dimension, whether that is taking on new staff, buying premises, bringing in investment or planning who will lead the business in future. The right advice at those moments can shape a company’s direction for years to come.
“CWC Solicitors brings that expertise to businesses right across Devon, and what stands out is how they approach it. Their commitment to simplifying the complex is exactly what business owners need: clear, practical guidance they can act on with confidence, particularly as employment law and regulation continue to change.
“We were also encouraged by Mick’s view that CWC Solicitors is joining to be an active part of our community rather than simply to raise its profile. That is the spirit of patronage at its best, and we look forward to seeing the team sharing their knowledge at our events and building connections with members across the county.”
