The Devon Chamber of Commerce is delighted to introduce the expert panel who will be undertaking the exciting yet challenging task of selecting our 30 Under 30 winners for 2025.
For the last two years, our 30 Under 30 campaign has celebrated dozens of the region’s incredible young business people.
We’re thrilled to announce that this year, we’ve joined forces with the University of Plymouth to once again reward young business people who play a hugely important role in the future of our economy and our business community.
With an incredible calibre of young talent and inspiring stories from across Devon, the judging process for 2025 promises to be both rigorous and rewarding.
Introducing our judging panel
This year’s 30 Under 30 campaign is in proud partnership with the University of Plymouth, and on Tuesday 8 April, our esteemed panel of judges will convene to carefully review all nominations.
The panel includes:
- Rich Adams – Head of Enterprise & Commercialisation at the University of Plymouth
- Claire Wallace – Student Enterprise Manager at the University of Plymouth
- Helen Lofts – FRSA Award Winning CEO. Women of the Future Award Winner
- Steve Warren-Brown – Founder at YGS Landscapes and Societree CIC
Each judge brings a wealth of expertise and experience in business, enterprise, and innovation, ensuring that the selection process is fair, thorough, and reflective of the immense talent emerging in Devon.
How the judging process works
The panel will meet at the University of Plymouth to evaluate the nominations, carefully considering each individual’s achievements, impact, and future potential. The goal is to recognise the most inspiring and innovative young professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders under the age of 30 who are making a difference in their respective fields.
What happens next?
All nominees will be informed of the outcome of their nominations on 8 April, when the 30 winners will be officially announced.
These outstanding individuals will then be celebrated at the prestigious Devon Business Awards ceremony at Crowne Plaza Plymouth on Friday 16 May 2025, when they will receive their well-earned trophies as we once again honour and celebrate the county’s leading entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes and sectors.
