A new and exciting style of networking has launched in Exeter. JR Shout Out events are re-defining the essence of networking by bringing together businesses, influencers, entrepreneurs and creatives for a cause that matters. These unique gatherings are not just about networking, but are a movement towards fostering genuine connections, promoting great causes, and building a supportive community across regions, both locally and nationally.
The first JR Shout Out took place in July at Exeter Pheonix. It was full of smiles and laughter as delegates enjoyed connecting over breakfast rolls, coffee and comedy courtesy of the hilarious Tank Sherman. They also heard about the vital work of the local headline causes and charities that benefit from the events – Libraries Unlimited and Devon Air Ambulance.
John Ross, organiser of JR Shout Out: “I wanted to create networking events that went beyond skin deep and enabled people to connect in a more meaningful, inspiring and caring way, building long term connections where people really can buddy and mentor each other as well as do business AND share lots of laughter! A real fusion of shouting out great causes, businesses, creative talent and comedy.”
Pippa Craddock, Director of Business & Marketing Solutions: “I attended the first Shout Out Exeter event and what a great way to start the day! This is a totally fresh format to business networking. It was great to connect with like minded people, meet new and existing contacts, and hear about the amazing work of the headline benefiting charities. I went back to the office feeling really inspired and motivated to tackle the day’s to do list. I’m really looking forward to the next event. If you want a different type of networking event and to start the day with a laugh and a smile, then I would give a JR Shout Out event a try.”
JR Shout Out events take place quarterly from 8am until 10am. Next event is Thursday 10th October at Exeter Library. Tickets are £10 per person, and all profits will be donated to Devon Air Ambulance and Libraries Unlimited.
