TECHLOCAL: CONNECTING LOCAL TALENT TO LOCAL TECH JOBS – IUK CONNECT
Devon Chamber of Commerce is preparing to bid for a significant national programme aimed at boosting tech skills, creating high‑quality entry‑level roles, and helping SMEs across Devon access the talent they need to adopt new technologies.
To strengthen the bid, we are seeking:
- Expressions of interest from employers willing to host entry‑level tech trainees or placements.
- Partners who can contribute training, mentoring, facilities, or specialist expertise.
- SMEs interested in shaping a support package that helps them adopt technologies such as AI, data, cyber, digital engineering, connectivity, or automation.
- Organisations who can help ensure inclusive recruitment, high‑quality progression routes, and strong regional impact.
Your involvement, large or small, will help us demonstrate the depth and breadth of Devon’s business community and ensure that the benefits of this programme flow directly to local employers.
