Gallery: Devon Business Awards 2025

Hundreds of special guests enjoyed an unforgettable night at Crowne Plaza Plymouth for our Devon Business Awards 2025.

We had an incredible response for this year’s Awards, with more than 250 nominations across our 12 categories – as well as dozens of entries for our 30 Under 30 campaign, in partnership with the University of Plymouth – so it was an incredibly tough task for our judging panel to choose three finalists in each category.

Our panel of judges gathered at the stunning Buckfast Abbey Conference Centre to carefully review each incredible nomination. A huge thank you to our expert panel of Dawn Melville, Jonathan Keable, Anna Lake, Yvan Williams, Robert Zarywacz, Ian Washington-Smith, and Gemma Selley.

We’re also grateful to our category partner judges, who have played a vital role in reviewing and championing local excellence: Ruth Julia Ladwig, Michael Laukkanen, David Wallis, Claire Cornish, Sean Bolter, Jim Davison, Richard Dormer, Drew Mason, Annette Stone, and Steve Gates.

After months of planning, the time came to honour the county’s leading businesses and entrepreneurs with a glittering ceremony on Plymouth’s waterfront.

The food, hospitality and entertainment at Crowne Plaza Plymouth was once again incredible, and it was fabulous to see so many people dressed to impress at what has become one of the most prestigious events in our region’s business calendar.

A huge thank you to our category partners: Dartline Coaches (part of The Go-Ahead Group), South Devon College, GA Solicitors, Browne Jacobson LLP, Westcotts, Plymouth Manufacturers Group & North Devon Manufacturers Association, BCR Associates, Timewade, Azets, and PPP Taking Care.

And also a huge thank you to our other Awards partners – Jay Stone Creative, Nexus Open Systems, PL1 Events, Plymouth Gin, The Inclusivity Group, The Ivy Exeter, and The Perfect Package – without whom we simply couldn’t host amazing events like this.

We were welcomed on arrival by friendly staff, drinks and tasty canapés. Then, after a delicious three-course meal, which was provided by the amazing team at Crowne Plaza Plymouth, the time came to present our Awards.

Our unsuspecting winners were revealed throughout the ceremony by our hosts, Margaret Oscar and James Court, who kept everyone entertained throughout.

All the regional winners from our eligible categories will now be automatically entered into the National British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Awards.

We were also thrilled to welcome a number of winners from this year’s 30 Under 30 campaign, in partnership with the University of Plymouth.

Meet all our winners.

Richard Marsh, Interim CEO of the Devon Chamber, said: “A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Crowne Plaza Plymouth, and to each and every Chamber member who submitted an entry for this year’s Awards.

“Picking the winners was an incredibly tough decision for our panel, with so many of our members enjoying great success over the last 12 months.

“Our Awards dinner was a truly fabulous night of celebration and we can’t wait to welcome you all again next year. Lastly, a special thanks to all our Chamber patrons, without whom events like this would simply not be possible.”
