China Fleet Country Club in Saltash will welcome local singer-songwriter Kate Ferguson for the first of their free summer live music evenings later this month.
Set to become a regular event throughout the summer at China Fleet’s new The Cabin – Cafe & Bar venue, concert goers will be able to enjoy free live music for the first time, outdoors in the grounds of the Club on Friday, August 27 at 7pm.
Debbie Lyons, sales and marketing manager, said: “We are so excited to be launching our new live music events at China Fleet.
“It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a while and now the lockdown restrictions are easing, we are so pleased to be in a position to be launching these special events.”

While many businesses throughout the UK temporarily closed during the Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020, China Fleet used the down time to re-invest and re-develop many new areas of the golf and leisure club.
Debbie added: “Throughout summer 2020, the team built a brand-new Adventure Golf attraction. Plus, we created The Cabin – Cafe & Bar, with outdoor seating and entertaining space. It’s perfect for our music evenings where people can enjoy a selection of food and drink from the cafe’s bar whilst listening to music.
“It’s fantastic to be able to see live music again and we cannot wait to discover upcoming talent and some old favourites, too.”

This August Bank Holiday sees the Club kick off their music evenings with the talented Kate Ferguson, a singer-songwriter from Devon, from 7pm-9pm on the Friday.
Kate first established herself in the folk genre, with her debut album ‘Sweet Confusion’ being featured on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Devon.
She has been commissioned for her song writing by The Box and Plymouth City Council and has also worked as a session singer for independent artists, as well as organisations such as LVM Productions.
Kate is currently studying for her MA in Music at Plymouth University alongside her recording and singing projects.
