Agile Comms celebrated its first birthday in style in the company of around 100 new clients and partners in the business community to mark a successful year.
The company, headed up by co-founders Ollie Jackman and James Fisher, treated attendees to drinks, pizza and a DJ set at The Stable in Plymouth’s historic Barbican area on 8 November.
Agile Comms entered the telecoms market on a mission to disrupt its out-of-date and inflexible perception with free-wheeling flexible contracts and greater levels of client support – a successful formula that has seen them work with more than 50 new clients in the first year.
Their ability to secure and offer flexible terms with leading brands in unified communications, business mobiles, video conferencing and connectivity has proved popular with a diverse range of organisations, from startups to established London accountancy firms, and charities to heritage brands – all attracted by a range of new possibilities available to them.

Ollie Jackman, director at Agile Comms and recently elected to the board of Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, commented: “Our first year has been a real adventure and it is gratifying to see our business plan come to fruition.
“While business conditions are challenging, we’ve developed a number of great relationships which will see us accelerate our growth in year two and beyond.”

James Fisher, director at Agile Comms, added: “We’re delighted with the start we’ve made which has enabled our clients to benefit in so many different ways – from greater connectivity to reducing costs both on hardware and contracts.
“We’re looking forward to helping more organisations to embrace an ever-changing communications environment with hybrid working, the phase-out of ISDN lines and more access to the 5G network coming soon.”
