Net Zero Hub

Net Zero Hub

Be part of a more sustainable future

Does your business have a plan for reaching net zero? Now is the time to make one.

Our region’s economy has a special relationship with its environment – we are truly a Blue Green Economy that can thrive when business works sustainably with our seas and green spaces.

In 2019, the UK pledged to reach net zero emissions by 2050. This section of our website will help your business contribute to this target and take action on climate. You can find resources, insights, information, tools and support.

We’ve also put together a Net Zero Directory which features advice from experts who can help your business improve its energy efficiency.

Is your business on a journey to being Net Zero? Have you already started to set meaningful targets that you’re ready to share?

If your team has gone above and beyond to support sustainability we want to share your stories and promote your Net Zero pledge.

Simply fill in the form opposite outlining your plan for achieving Net Zero and we’ll pin your pledge to our Net Zero Hub and promote it to the wider business community.

If you have an example of good practice you would like to share, or any lessons learned, let us know so we can shout about your progress.

The first steps towards sustainability with Recro Vida

Businesses across Devon are being invited to a series of free Carbon Net Zero workshops in 2022 which are designed to help you on the first steps of your sustainability journey while improving your organisation’s impact on the environment.

Devon & Plymouth Chamber is committed to helping our members work towards Net Zero, and so we have partnered with local sustainability experts Recro Vida Ltd to host the four highly practical and informative online workshops aimed at SMEs and micros.

Recro Vida will help you navigate the world of Net Zero, starting with the very first steps businesses can take, handholding you through the process of setting a carbon reduction strategy.

The aim is to finish the series with your own carbon reduction strategy that can begin right away.
