Exeter Chamber is looking for two Non-Executive Board Directors to join the existing team to represent the ambitious and growing Tech & IT sector in our region and the vibrant Tourism sector in our region.
We are looking for exceptional leaders, motivated to improve the business community of Exeter and the surrounding area.

NON-EXECUTIVE BOARD DIRECTOR | TECH & IT SECTOR
Exeter Chamber is the region’s leading independent business membership organisation, connecting businesses and driving prosperity for Exeter and the surrounding area. Businesses join Exeter Chamber because they know membership will give them the tools they need to make decisions for their business, access support, and connect with the business community in the city and the wider region.
The current Board has set in motion a progressive change program for the membership and with a new brand identity, website, and suite of membership packages, we are looking for a Non-Executive Board Director to join the existing team to represent the ambitious and growing Tech & IT sector in our region.
About you:
We are looking for an exceptional leader, motivated to improve the business community of Exeter and the surrounding area. In addition to your Tech & IT background you will to bring with you the following skills and experience:
- A successful record of leading organisations or large, multi-faceted teams, and implementing strategies and business plans
- An inclusive relationship builder with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Excellent knowledge of the business community
- Strong communication skills, adept at motivating and leading others to deliver results
This is a pro-bono role requiring up to 2 days a month of commitment to attend meetings and events and to represent Exeter Chamber and it’s membership, driving continued business growth and success in the region.
