The Bank values diversity greatly and wants to ensure our events are open to a wide range of attendees. With this in mind, we would encourage you to share this invitation with colleagues/business contacts/suppliers that might be interested in how the Monetary Policy Committee makes their decisions about monetary policy and, also help us to make our regional events as diverse as possible.
As a public institution, it is vital that we fully reflect the diversity of the people we serve. Given the important role that the Bank has in the UK economy, exercising its independent responsibility for monetary policy and the stability of the financial system, it is important that we reach out, listen and communicate to a broad base of stakeholders and that our events are open to a diverse range of attendees.
