Plymouth Citybus is the largest provider of public transport in Plymouth, carrying over 15m passengers a year across its fleet of 170 vehicles. Based and managed in Plymouth, employing over 450 people, Plymouth Citybus became part of the Go-Ahead Group in 2009, previously being publicly owned. Within Plymouth Citybus Ltd lie both Plymouth Citycoach and Plymouth Car & Commercial. Plymouth Citycoach offers a wide range of trips and tours all over the UK, alongside a coach hire section. Plymouth Car & Commercial is based within the Citybus depot at Milehouse specialising in fleet maintenance. It also offers out of hours servicing, alongside being an ATF (authorised testing facility) for heavy good vehicles, trailers and public service vehicles.
