Plymouth Marjon University

Plymouth Marjon University is a small university with a big reputation for providing an outstanding student experience leading to high levels of employment. Founded in 1838, the University’s heritage and expertise is well established in our Faculties of Education & Social Sciences, Sport & Health Sciences and Language & Creative Arts. We offer more than 100 different programmes of study designed to meet student expectations and the needs of employers. 

City College Plymouth

As the largest training provider in the Plymouth travel-to-work area, we are proud to work closely with local and regional employers to ensure that we provide the training that is required by business. We truly understand the business community and the challenges it faces and are flexible in what we are able to offer. The College works hard to develop positive partnerships with employers that enable you to have a key role in curriculum development, ensuring our training is not only up-to-date but relevant to your industry needs. 

Plymouth Citybus

Plymouth Citybus is the largest provider of public transport in Plymouth, carrying over 15m passengers a year across its fleet of 170 vehicles. Based and managed in Plymouth, employing over 450 people, Plymouth Citybus became part of the Go-Ahead Group in 2009, previously being publicly owned.  Within Plymouth Citybus Ltd lie both Plymouth Citycoach and Plymouth Car & Commercial. Plymouth Citycoach offers a wide range of trips and tours all over the UK, alongside a coach hire section. Plymouth Car & Commercial is  based within the Citybus depot at Milehouse specialising in fleet maintenance. It also offers out of hours servicing, alongside being an ATF (authorised testing facility) for heavy good vehicles, trailers and public service vehicles.

Princess Yachts

Princess Yachts established its home in Plymouth on the edge of the English Channel in 1965. Today Princess shipyards cover an area of over 1.1 million square feet, an area rich in British maritime heritage. In fact, South Yard, where the M Class Superyachts are constructed, is a former naval yard dating back to the 17th century. From the outset, their goal has been to meticulously sculpt yachts around their owners’ enjoyment of them. Such dedication and attention to detail resonates deeply with Princess’ Plymouth craftsmen. More than 3,000 people, each possessing a mastery of their skill, fastidiously realise this vision in our shipyards.

Devon County Council

Devon County Council is closely involved with a wide range of projects to provide support and guidance for all types of business in Devon. work to promote sustainable economic growth in Devon through commissioning and delivering a range of activities, both independently and through partnerships with other organisations and also work closely with the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership.
