The Quarterly Economic Survey

Each quarter, we encourage our members to participate in British Chambers of Commerce Quarterly Economic Survey, one of Britain’s most influential private business surveys.

Each survey helps us establish and identify the needs and concerns of our members as well as provide invaluable intelligence for national attention at the highest level. Being a Chamber member means you’re part of something bigger and gives you the opportunity via your feedback to shape our economic future.

Lobbying

The Chamber is actively engaged on behalf of members in  lobbying  in a number of important areas:

  • Rail (with Peninsula Rail Task Force)
  • Air Services
  • Road (including A38 road improvements)
  • Broadband – better and speedier broadband for the region
  • Not Spots – campaigning to improve mobile telephone coverage

Why here?

We believe passionately in the future of the South West – particularly Devon & Plymouth – a centre for business that’s growing in confidence and prominence on a national and international stage.

This video by our strategic partners Plymouth City Council demonstrates the depth of opportunity for businesses in the region.
